You're invited on a Virtual Field Trip to an Ohio Pig Farm

Are you interested in learning more about how food is grown in Ohio? Join us to see what a farmer does each day and how they take care of pigs.

Turn your classroom into a virtual pig farm through a one-of-a-kind learning experience as you connect with a real Ohio pig farm for a live video tour and chat with a farmer. Your class will get a peak inside their barns and learn what it takes to raise pigs, and have a live Q&A session with a farmer.

The Ohio Pork Council would like your students to participate!

You are welcome to join a live video chat or you can request a recorded link to watch at your convenience.

Virtual field trips will be offered through September 2017 through May 2018. All you need to participate is an internet-connected computer, webcam and microphone.

Check out some excerpts from our past virtual field trips! For more information or questions, contact Jennifer Osterholt at josterholt@ohiopork.orgor call 614-882-5887.
